Soulmate

Lyrics

Verse

I wanna walk on the beach with my dog
With someone that I love
As we talk 'bout life
As we talk 'bout time

Pre-Chorus

Where is the girl of my dreams
Where is the girl of my dreams

Chorus

To watch the sunrise and the sunset
To walk around town and to places that no one else goes
Where is the girl of my dreams
Where is the girl of my dreams

Verse 2

Maybe we could go out for a drive
In the car you like
Maybe we'll find time
For one of those long nights

Pre-Chorus

Where is the girl of my dreams
Where is the girl of my dreams

Chorus

To watch the sunrise and the sunset
To walk around town and to places that no one else goes
Where is the girl of my dreams
Where is the girl of my dreams

About the track

Soulmate is perhaps one of Kira Beats' most personal tracks. It explores the quiet search for someone to share the small things that truly matter.

Walking on the beach with your dog, driving without a destination for hours, watching the sunrise after a long night or getting lost in places only two people know. Over a warm, enveloping emotional house foundation, the track captures hope, nostalgia and the desire to find someone to build a lifetime of memories with.

Deep bass, analogue pads and an intimate nocturnal atmosphere make Soulmate an open letter to someone who has not arrived yet, but who is already part of the story somewhere.
