Puzzle

A dance house track about rebuilding after difficult times, rediscovering who you are and accepting that not every piece of your life is meant to fit.

Platform:

Lyrics

Verse

Been to hell and back I fell through the cracks Was shattered like a chandelier Picked up every piece of me It took a couple years

Pre-Chorus

Some things I don't need

Chorus

I've got this puzzle I call it my soul And nobody else is gonna make me whole No one can help me It's something I do on my own One piece at a time

Verse 2

Emotions and memories My thoughts are like a galaxy They spin around and disappear There's nothing else to do But try and figure out who I am now

Pre-Chorus

Some things I don't need

Chorus

I've got this puzzle I call it my soul And nobody else is gonna make me whole No one can help me It's something I do on my own One piece at a time One piece at a time

Bridge

Empty spaces Some things can't be replaced If you don't fit Then you can't stay

Empty spaces Some things can't be replaced If you don't fit Then you can't stay

About the track

Puzzle is about rebuilding after experiences that change you completely. Picking up the remaining pieces, looking at them one by one and discovering who you are now, rather than trying to become exactly who you were before.

The song uses a puzzle as a metaphor for that process. Some pieces still fit. Others belong to a version of you that no longer exists. And some simply need to stay out so the rest can find their place.

It is also about understanding that nobody can do that work for you. You can have people beside you, accept help and feel supported, but becoming whole again is your own process. One piece at a time.

Musically, Puzzle combines bright dance house energy with warm chords, a steady bassline and a production that moves forward gently. There is melancholy, but it never gets stuck there. The goal is always to keep going.

Healing does not happen all at once.

Sometimes it happens one piece at a time.

Not every piece is meant to fit.

And not every chapter is meant to stay.
